Arrival and Departure

Check-in is available from 14:00 – 16:00 on the day of arrival.  Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival.  No check-in will be made after 21:00 except in unforeseen circumstances.  We ask that you please vacate your room by 10:00 in the morning of departure, leaving the keys in the door or elsewhere as indicated. This is to enable the room to be prepared in time for new arrivals.  Late check-outs may be charged for.

Reservations and Payment

The establishment operates on a self-catering basis and does not provide or arrange other services such as meals, transport, tours, functions, events, parties, babysitting and personal laundry.

DSTV is available with more than 80 DSTV channels, including Kyknet and all SuperSport channels.

Reservations will not be confirmed until the required deposit is received. A deposit of 50% is required to secure bookings and all payments should be done via EFT or on-line.  The outstanding balance is payable prior to arrival.

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has booked and then cancels.  We do, however, understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.

Less than 7 days prior to arrival – forfeit 100 % total amount

From 8 to 14 days prior to arrival – forfeit 100 % of the deposit

From 15 to 28 days prior to arrival – forfeit 50 % of the deposit

From 29 or more days prior to arrival – forfeit 25 % of the deposit

Regret no refunds on late arrivals and early departures.

Parking

Secure off-street parking is provided. Vehicles should be parked in the parking that is provided for each unit. Please be considerate to other guests when parking your vehicle. Please no parking in front of the two main gates.

Cleaning

The room will be cleaned every day except on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Keys

You have access to the room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you on arrival.  You are responsible for the keys for the duration of your stay. Only one remote and set of keys is provided per unit.  Lost keys and remote will be charged at R600.00 per set.

Security, Storage and Liability

Although the establishment takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.  Keep the unit locked and windows closed at all times.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injuries whatsoever to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions when entering these premises.

Braai / Entertainment Facilities and Rules

A portable braai is available on request. Guests are also more than welcome to make use of the Lapa braai facilities.

Please take note of the following house rules:

  • NO SMOKING is allowed in the room.
  • Accommodation strictly restricted to a number of people as indicated per room.
  • NO extra guests or visitors allowed on the premises without prior arrangements with the owner.
  • NO raucous parties.
  • NO loud music, loud talking or shouting especially after 22:00.
  • Parents are requested to control young children from any unruly and/or destructive behaviour.
  • Strictly NO eating and drinking in the bedrooms.
  • NO unruly matric groups, bachelor/hens parties, etc.
  • NO ROOM TOWELS are permitted at the swimming pool area.
  • Please note ONLY official swimwear is allowed at the swimming pool.
  • NO fireworks to be let off on or around the property.
  • NO children are allowed in the pool without adult supervision.
  • All facilities are strictly for guests only.
  • Please keep the Boma and Lapa area clean and tidy after use.
Breakage

Please take care of the room.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages, damages or loss which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.  Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly (see attached inventory list).

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted in the room.  Please note that offending guests will be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning of the room.  Smoking is permitted outdoor. A cigarette ashtray is provided per room.

Plumbing / Electrics

Please do not flush foreign objects or woman’s sanitary goods down the toilets. Sanitary bins are provided.

 Kindly switch of most lights and air conditioners when not in the room and ensure the outside lights for your unit are switched off in the morning.

Pets

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the premises.
